  • LOCATION Charlotte, North Carolina
  • CLIENT Hawse Design
  • CHALLENGE Budget, zoning and schedule.

The North Carolina Music Factory project’s design blurs the line between signage and sculpture. Designed by Hawes, the Music Factory is a multi-venue complex in the heart of Charlotte’s entertainment district. Our design and fabrication teams are always ready to take on new manufacturing challenges and Hawse Design’s vision provided us just such an opportunity. Although we were faced with tight budgets, strict local codes, short time-lines and bad weather, we were, nonetheless, able to deliver and install the package on time and on budget. Our aggressive design assistance confronted and solved budgetary and zoning issues and our dedication to meeting our commitments insured the project’s timely completion.

Hawse Design and Henry were pleased and honored to see our hard work featured on the cover of Signs of the Times magazine, a spot traditionally reserved for work that features not only a beautiful design, but one that somehow stretches the envelope of what has been done before.

Henry worked closely and patiently with our firm and the client to get the project within budget and without compromising the look or quality. Their ability to bring creative manufacturing and logistical solutions to the table has made them an easy partner for our firm and our clients and their quality shows in every construction detail.

I wanted to take a moment to thank the project team at Henry for a tremendous effort on the North Carolina Music Factory. It proved to be a most challenging project, but your team’s attention to detail and expertise in this industry along with the professionalism and quality of service exceeded our expectations.
