When Hitt Contracting asked us to provide the building signature signs for NCR’s new Global Corporate Headquarters we jumped at the opportunity. Not only is the Duda|Paine designed complex some of the most beautiful and distinctive architecture in the city, but Sky Design’s signage is a striking and creative take on the NCR logo.

Instead of typical letter forms, Sky had us break the 15’ tall letter shapes into a series of individually illuminated vertical bars. The lighted bars, each 10” wide and 18” deep, are attached to mounting panels whose tubular aluminum frames serve as conduits for the low voltage LED power supplies. The power supplies are behind the parapet for ease of service.
The building’s unique angles made running a swing stage hundreds of feet up to the parapet challenging, but the signature signs, seen by thousands daily on I-75/85, were well worth it.
