Brickell City Centre is a massive 5.4 million square-foot mixed use development in the heart of Miami’s Brickell Financial District. The three lower levels are dominated by a semi-enclose shopping mall that spans three city blocks. US-41 and South Miami Avenue actually pass through the mall, which is also abutted by the 8th Street Metromover station. To tie these three blocks of shopping, dining and entertainment into a single, easily-strolled mall, there are two, double-decker, open-air, pedestrian bridges. These bridges are so broad, and so well integrated into the overall architectural design, is quite possible to cross a busy down-town street without even being aware of it. Part of the success of that integration is due to our ACM cladding that conceals the heavy steel beams supporting the bridges and blends perfectly with the cladding throughout the complex, by both us and other vendors.
